The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a youth-oriented program that aims to instil the spirit of service and social responsibility among college and university students. The NSS unit of our college is actively involved in a wide range of community service and social work activities with a focus on promoting cleanliness, social awareness, and sustainable development.

One of the key activities of our NSS unit is the cleanliness mission (Participation in Swachha Bharat Abhiyan) where students engage in various cleaning and waste management activities such as cleaning streets and public areas, creating awareness about the importance of cleanliness and organizing campaigns to reduce plastic waste.

Our NSS unit also organizes social awareness campaigns on various issues such as health, education, gender equality, environment protection and social justice. These campaigns are aimed at creating awareness among the general public about these issues and encouraging them to take actions towards a better and more equitable society.

In addition, our NSS unit conducts various social work activities such as organizing blood donation camps, CORONA Vaccination programmes, providing support to underprivileged sections of society and working with local NGOs to address community issues. Our students also participate in Sharamanubhav Shibir, a camp where they stay in an adopted village for a week, work for the community, interact with village-people from different backgrounds, share their experiences, and learn from each other.Through these activities, the NSS unit of our college aims to create a sense of social responsibility and civic engagement among our students and to prepare them to become active and responsible citizens of our country.
